Perfect your colour change skills with Arnie the tiger! They say a tiger doesn’t change his stripes and we hope this little fella never does because he’s simply adorable! This roarsome project is made with a gorgeous golden yellow yarn, but orange would be a great choice too of course! We think Sachiyo Ishii’s fearless feline would make the perfect toy for a little one who adores tigers.

Little And Large – Free Amigurumi Fox Crochet Pattern!

FREE amigurumi FOX crochet pattern

The pattern for these adorable, and surprisingly stackable, foxes is completely free! The image shows the magic of using different yarn thicknesses and types in creating a completely different look and size!

The larger one is made with fluffy thick velvet yarn (you can find some on Amazon) and is just perfect for snuggling!

I love how those little safety noses look in this free fox crochet design. You can find different-sized noses on Amazon.

Cheeky Little Fox – Free Amigurumi Fox Crochet Pattern!

FREE amigurumi FOX crochet pattern

You just instantly fall in love with this little amigurumi fox! I mean, just look at his cheeky smile! He’s a mini-model, but all the wonderful crochet fox-elements are there: the black feet en legs, the black-tipped ears and the luscious fluffy tail!

You can embroider that little nose, but if you want, you can find those safety noses on Amazon!

Fox Sock Puppet – Free Amigurumi Fox Crochet Pattern!

FREE amigurumi FOX crochet pattern

I love the sock-puppety look of this cute amigurumi fox. Not only can it stand up by itself, thanks to the flat round bottom, but it can also deliver important messages!

You can make it stand a little easier by weighing down the bottom part of its body. You can use different materials for this, some even use perishables like dry beans and rice. I would prefer heavy materials that will last, like Poly-Pellets (available on Amazon). These pellets are non-toxic and washable, and will help your amigurumi fox to sit up perfectly!

Snuggly Warm Fox – Free Amigurumi Fox Crochet Pattern!

FREE amigurumi FOX crochet pattern

This lovely amigurumi fox will stay snuggly and warm this winter! The crochet fox itself is already adorable, but the addition of that cute knitted scarf-hat combo makes this the perfect amigurumi winter fox!

The designer added a cute little heart-shaped button as extra decoration. You really can’t go wrong with adding adorable buttons to your amigurumi creations! You can find your perfect heart-shaped button on Etsy!

Big-Eared Fennec Fox – Free Amigurumi Fox Crochet Pattern!

FREE amigurumi FOX crochet pattern

How adorable is this little amigurumi fennec fox with its massive ears? Apparently, the fox uses them to hear the little animals scurry about underground. It lives in the Sahara desert and is too cute for words!

Yes, I did look this fox up on Wikipedia, and let me tell you: it was worth it! Usually, the amigurumi animals are a cute version of their real-life counterpart, but with this little fox I feel the cuteness race is tied!

Stripey Sweatered Foxes -Free Amigurumi Fox Crochet Pattern!

FREE amigurumi FOX crochet pattern

Ah…. I’m a sucker for crochet animals with stripes! There is just something about them that I absolutely adore! And these amigurumi foxes are no exception to that rule! I also love the clean lines of this fox crochet pattern. And those long limbs are perfect for little baby hands to grab, making this a wonderful little baby shower present!

But remember: when you crochet for a baby or small child, please consider replacing those plastic eyes with embroidered ones. You can’t be too careful!

Cuddly Small Fox – Free Amigurumi Fox Crochet Pattern!

FREE amigurumi FOX crochet pattern

This little amigurumi fox (yes – stripey sweater again!) is perfect for beginners: the shapes are basic, it is small so it will work up fast, and you get to practice changing colors! And what is even better: in the end you’ll end up with an adorable pocket-sized cuddle buddy!

These little crochet animals with lots of color changes are the perfect stash busters! Give your yarn scraps the starring role in a rainbow-striped sweater and enjoy the colorful results!

Adorable Boxy Fox – Free Amigurumi Fox Crochet Pattern!

FREE amigurumi FOX crochet pattern

These square-type amigurumi crochet patterns are always adorable. Just look at this cute little crochet fox! But be aware this free fox amigurumi crochet pattern looks easier than it is: it requires a lot of counting and color switching! You do end up with a wonderfully sweet little amigurumi fox, so your efforts will be worth it in the end!

The safety eyes used in this fox crochet pattern (you know: those colorful ones) can be found on Etsy. And those cute safety noses can be purchased on Etsy too!

Cute Fox For Beginners – Free Amigurumi Fox Crochet Pattern!

FREE amigurumi FOX crochet pattern

The simple shapes and easy color changes make this free amigurumi fox crochet pattern suitable for beginners. This is a Kawaii-style crochet fox and it has a cute felt triangle nose and red-tipped ears.

The fox crochet pattern is not complicated and you’ll need just the basic crochet supplies to complete it. When shopping for supplies for this project, don’t forget to get some stuffing! You can find some in your favorite craft store or on Etsy.

Round-bellied Fox – Free Amigurumi Fox Crochet Pattern!

FREE amigurumi FOX crochet pattern

This adorable chunky crochet fox has a cute round belly! And just take a look at that thick tail! It is an all-round cute amigurumi fox!

This free fox crochet pattern is probably suitable for beginners. What a great way to hone your crocheting skills! Working with black yarn can be a bit of a challenge, but just make sure you have good light and those small black pieces will be done in no time!

Cool Aviator Fox – Free Amigurumi Fox Crochet Pattern!

FREE amigurumi FOX crochet pattern
FREE amigurumi FOX crochet pattern

How cool is this pair of amigurumi aviator foxes? I mean, just look at them! I love their outfits, they are perfect from the top of the goggle helmets to their pilot jackets!

When you click the image you’ll find the crochet pattern for the smaller amigurumi fox. I searched the entire website, but I can’t find the crochet pattern for the bigger fox. Fortunately, the little crochet fox is also very cute by itself!

If you look closely, you may notice the buttons on the aviator jackets are shiny and gold. The crochet designer states in the materials list that those are mini gold brads (like these office supply ones on Etsy? They seem too large, but that might be cool in itself), but you can probably better use small gold-colored beads (like these) to achieve the same effect.

Sweet Heart Fox – Free Amigurumi Fox Crochet Pattern!

FREE amigurumi FOX crochet pattern

This cute amigurumi fox really is a sweetheart! Not only is she absolutely adorable with her sweet face and little bow, she even has a heart-shaped furry patch on her tummy! I love her black paws and the very subtle black markings on her ears!

Little miss sweetheart crochet fox has been made from thick fluffy velvet yarn, which certainly adds to her overall cuddliness. You can find that soft and gorgeous yarn on Etsy!

Smiling Fox – Free Amigurumi Fox Crochet Pattern!

FREE amigurumi FOX crochet pattern

Just look at this guy’s cheeky smile! This cute amigurumi fox is up to some mischief for sure! I love the color changes on his little snout, his black paws, and, of course, that adorable little smile! And his little white round belly is just ready for tickling!

The pattern for this amigurumi crochet fox should be suitable for beginners. The only challenge might be the unconventional color changes of the muzzle. You might consider making the snout all orange, should you get stuck on those color changes!

Basil Brush Fox – Free Amigurumi Fox Crochet Pattern!

FREE amigurumi FOX crochet pattern

I’m not sure if it was intentional or not, but this free amigurumi fox crochet pattern has some serious Basil Brush vibes! For those of you who are not familiar: Basil is a much-beloved fox puppet on British television. He is very well-spoken, quite posh, and absolutely adorable.

His crochet fox companion is very cute with her little bow and different color scheme. That ochre yellow works really well with her light brown booties. And I love that her little safety nose perfectly matches that color scheme! You can find a variety of colored safety noses on Etsy!

Sleepy Foxes – Free Amigurumi Fox Crochet Pattern!

FREE amigurumi FOX crochet pattern

This sleeping pair of amigurumi foxes are adorable from their embroidered felt snouts to the tips of their luscious foxy tails! The pair of them make a wonderful baby shower gift and look very much at home in any nursery decor.

The designer of these free fox crochet patterns has included the instructions of both the mama ánd the little baby fox! Some people are just too good for this world! Thank you for sharing your talent with us!

Tiny Fox – Free Amigurumi Fox Crochet Pattern!

FREE amigurumi FOX crochet pattern

This tiny little crochet fox is so cute! And even though it is small, it still has every foxy element you could want: little pointy ears, cute little snout, and, of course, a white-tipped bushy fox tail!

It is a fun little project for any fox-lover. You could even make it into a cute keychain or bag hanger! If you do, prepare yourself for lots of Please-Make-Me-That! requests!

Petit Prince Fox – Free Amigurumi Fox Crochet Pattern!

FREE amigurumi FOX crochet pattern

This wonderful amigurumi fox crochet pattern really reminds me of the wise fox in the Petit Prince book. One of the fox’s quotes is: “And now here is my secret, a very simple secret: It is only with the heart that one can see rightly; what is essential is invisible to the eye.” Such wisdom!

I love the black-edged ears, the flat design of the fox itself (but it can also sit up!), the round black nose, and, last but certainly not least, the enormously bulky tail! This fox crochet pattern has a distinct ragdoll feel to it, which, apart from the gangly limbs, mostly comes from the fox’s button eyes. You can find those classic ragdoll 4-hole black buttons on Etsy!

Small Girl Fox – Free Amigurumi Fox Crochet Pattern!

FREE amigurumi FOX crochet pattern

Another cute girl fox crochet pattern! The little bow is adorable and her sleepy closed eyes and little nose give her some character! This is the perfect cuddly little present for fox-lovers!

I love crochet patterns where you don’t have to sew too many parts together. The legs are already crocheted into the body, and you can also crochet the arms into the body pattern at the right round. This way, you only need to sew on the ears!

The designer uses a combination of satin ribbon to make that adorable little bow. In fact, the ribbon is crocheted! Find your satin ribbon on Etsy HERE, or some pre-made little bows HERE!

Fall Pumpkin Foxes – Free Amigurumi Fox Crochet Pattern!

FREE amigurumi FOX crochet pattern

I absolutely adore these crochet fox pumpkins! What a great decor piece. I mean, can you believe the pattern for these amigurumi fox pumpkins is absolutely free? Different gauges (sizes) of yarn account for the different sizes of fox crochet pumpkin results. The designer, however, does include the possibility of a mini-sized wolf pumpkin!

And this crochet designer didn’t stop with just the big crochet fox pumpkins: there are also patterns available for a bear pumpkin, a deer pumpkin, and a raccoon pumpkin! Together with the pattern for the above fox crochet pumpkin, these patterns have been bundled into one PDF, available on Etsy!

Big Boy Fox – Free Amigurumi Fox Crochet Pattern!

FREE amigurumi FOX crochet pattern

This chunky crochet fox is so cute! He’s wearing his favorite sweater (alas, not stripey, but you can easily adapt the pattern to make it so!) and he is ready for some snuggles!

I love the collar and the lower edge of the sweater, these give a more three-dimensional feel, like the clothing is actually on the fox. The designer chose to make the paws and the tips of the ears brown instead of black. This gives a wonderfully soft feeling to this amigurumi fox.

Funky Fox – Free Amigurumi Fox Crochet Pattern!

FREE amigurumi FOX crochet pattern

How cool is this funky amigurumi fox crochet pattern? There are so many fun details: the pointy snout, the eye patch, the swanky scarf, and those decorative star-shaped buttons! This free fox crochet pattern is not for the faint of heart!

I love the mismatching colors and oddly shaped body parts. This is certainly not your average amigurumi fox! You can find the small star-shaped buttons on Etsy!

Sad Sweater Fox – Free Amigurumi Fox Crochet Pattern!

FREE amigurumi FOX crochet pattern

How can this cute amigurumi fox look so sad? He’s wearing a beautiful stripey sweater and is surrounded by crocheted autumn leaves! The embroidered eyebrows bring so much expression to his face: if you change the angle just a little bit he might look a whole lot happier!

It is a lovely free amigurumi fox crochet pattern. Those long arms and legs are perfect for little hands to grab, so this cute little crochet fox will make a great baby shower present! You can choose the recipient’s favorite colors for the sweater!

Curious about those crochet leaves? You can find some great patterns in this Fall Leave Crochet Pattern Roundup!

Fluffy Fox – Free Amigurumi Fox Crochet Pattern!

FREE amigurumi FOX crochet pattern

This fluffy amigurumi fox is dressed up nicely! I love the little bow tie on its shirt! However, you should know that the pattern only contains the instructions for the fox itself, and not for the outfit. But since it is completely free, who are we to complain?

The crochet fox’s face is adorable. Crocheting these amigurumi in soft velvet yarn creates such a beautiful snuggly softness! It makes you wonder why you would ever use any other material! You can find some luscious velvet chenille yarn on Etsy!

Sitting Fox – Free Amigurumi Fox Crochet Pattern!

FREE amigurumi FOX crochet pattern

This little crochet fox looks like he’s contemplating his life choices. I bet he could use a hug. Again, the position of the eyebrows is the key to your amigurumi fox’s expression!

The legs and tail form a stable triangle for the fox to sit anywhere: put him on a shelf or on the couch. With this little companion, you’ll never run out of snuggles!

ARAN WAVE SOCKS – Crochet Pattern -DIY – Instant Download Pdf
**Note: You are not buying a finished product! **
(Thank you dear testers for making these socks real!)

The wavy pattern with ribbing is inspired by the famous Aran sweater patterns.
The Arans are a group of islands west of the Irish coast, where incredible knitting patterns have been developed for generations.
Love them!

To achieve knit-like Aran stitches in crochet, the pattern has to be worked sideways.
An unusual, but easy and interesting method for socks.
Worked flat, back and forth in one piece.
Two heel versions are included in the pattern:
Neat afterthought heel, or fast and easy integrated heel.

The sock shape is easy, but the wavy pattern requires your full attention and patience.
At least in the beginning, until you get the hang of the repeats, and how the hook is inserted in each row.
That is why this pattern is labeled Intermediate/Experienced.

You are not buying a finished product – DIY – INSTANT DOWNLOAD PDF**

So warm, squishy, and stretchy!
This is crochet, not knit!
The garter pattern is created by slip stitches, as well as the purled pattern on toe cap, and on the border on top of the socks.

• In knitting, “purl” is the WS of the knit stitch.
• “Garter”, is the knit stitch worked back and forth.
• In crochet, the slip stitch is the smallest of all stitches, and can imitate any knitted basic stitch.

Bulky yarn and large hook, works up these socks in short time.
Work them to any length you like.

Note the socks folded down to boot-length. They have crochet soles joined to the bottom for protection.

WINTER SOCKS crochet pattern

This is a CROCHET PATTERN for crocheted socks featuring the Herringbone Half Double Crochet Stitch.

These toe-up, short row heel socks are crocheted using the Herringbone Half Double Crochet stitch. Available in five sizes from Women’s 5 to Men’s 13, whip a pair up for all of your favorite people. ♥

Pattern Notes:

Mark the first st of each row with a stitch marker.

Do not turn throughout the pattern, except when working the HEEL rows.

You could continue the “ankle” rows to make the socks as short or tall as you like.

Pattern written using US terms.

Each size is separated out individually.

These socks are stretchy! They have a negative ease and may appear too small while working them up.

Use the tail from the beginning chain to cinch up any holes in the toe as you weave in the end.

We are using the Herringbone Half Double Crochet stitch. Watch the tutorial for this stitch here: https://hearthookhome.com/how-to-herringbone-half-double-crochet-hhdc/

The entire sock is worked in continuous rounds with the exception of the heel. The heel is worked in rows, then we switch back to rounds (picking up where we left off) to finish the “ankle” and “leg”.

Normally I work any foot wear, slippers as well as socks, from toe/up.
