Sir Skull Crochet Pattern

“Alas, Poor Yorick”, one of the most iconic scenes in Shakespeare’s Hamlet actually features a skull. Hamlet reminisces about his old friend whilst holding up his skull. A bit macabre, but that’s Hamlet for ya!
And this beautifully designed crochet skull would certainly not have looked out of place in such an elite thesbian setting. Aptly named “Sir Skull” by its designer, this wonderfully detailed crochet skull is a true master piece.
How cool would it be to crochet this skull for a doctor friend, or someone else in the medical field for them to display in their office? Or, just like in Hamlet, to use in a amateur theatre production in lieu of actual human bones? Or, in fact, crochet this skull to decorate your house for Halloween. It’ll be a lot of work, but the end result is definitely worth it!
I love the juxtaposition of the inherit creepiness of a skull with the soft and snuggly vibes of yarn. It just makes for the perfect Halloween decorations!

Pretty Skull Crochet Pattern

As skulls go, these sure áre pretty! And what’s more: they’re earrings! Yes, no need to look any further: these pretty crochet skull earrings are the perfect finishing touch to your Halloween costume. Or can be worn on the Day of the Dead. Or just because you like them. Every day. To work!
This little skull have quite a mean look in their eyes and yet sport a very pretty pink bow – such a great contrast. Another contrast I really like is the black of the border versus the white of the skull. This, combined with the pink (or any other bright color) of the bow really make this design pop.
Of course, you can use this applique crochet skull design to make these featured earrings, but you can also use them for many other crafts and purposes: as a cool embellishment on the invites to your Halloween party. As little presents for the kids to give away with the candy to Trick-or-Treaters. To scrapbook about your favorite death metal band, etc etc etc! Really, for appliques, the possibilities are endless!

Sweet Little Skull Crochet Pattern

The designers name for this pattern is very appropriate, because it really ís a sweet little skull. How fabulous would this crochet skull look as decoration for Halloween? I mean, you can put it in the Trick-or-Treating candy bowl to scare the little kiddies. Or use it in a cool Halloween wreath for your door. Or crochet a whole bunch and make a garland out of them as a window display. So many awesome possibilities for this little sweet crochet skull! And with the possibility to “dress up” the crochet skull for the Day of the Dead, this skull crochet pattern sure is versatile!
I love how the spaces that are sunken (eye socket, nose hole, the spaces between the teeth) are made with a contrasting color. This is such a cool idea! And the design of the teeth themselves is nothing but brilliant: I have to confess I don’t know what kind of stitch it is, but it sure look very cool!
This crochet skull, as sweet and little as it is, has all the shapes and forms you would expect from an actual skull. This kind of modelling is not easily designed in a crochet pattern. So, many kudos for this designer, coming up with such a detailed and very sculpted looking crochet skull!

Skull And Bones Crochet Pattern

How cool is this skull and bones crochet pattern? I mean, you could use it to decorate for Halloween or to bury with the pirate treasure for your kids birthday party. There is no limit to the possibilities of a solid crochet skull and bones in any household! 🙂
Not only is are these human remains carefully designed and filled with great detail and shape, according to the designer they are actually life-sized! Depending, of course, on the gauge of yarn used to create them. But what a cool addition to Halloween or pirate party or doctor’s office etc etc etc!
This kind of detailed shaped crochet pattern is not suitable for beginners. And, even as a more experienced crocheter, you probably have to be able to read the instructions very carefully in order to get the ridges and shapes where they should be. So, put those reading glasses on and make sure there are no distractions!

Day Of The Dead Sugar Skull Crochet Pattern

The Day of the Dead has taught us many things, not the least of which is that skulls can be colorful and fun! According to their designer, these “Sugar Skulls” have a “Cutesy Goth-Melancholic” vibe to them, and I certainly wouldn’t disagree with that description. If nothing else, they certainly have their own unique style!
The designer named these crochet skulls Penelope and Petunia, although I’m not quite sure which is which… And these to little skulls have bigger brothers and sisters, should you like to crochet even bolder colorful skulls! You can find those biggies (complete with their own flower headband!)  HERE!
So, if you want to celebrate the Day of the Dead, or just brighten up your Halloween decorations with some awesome colorful skulls, this is the crochet pattern for you! Just pick your favorite color yarn and get skull making!

Applique Skull Crochet Pattern

Awww, such an adorable little crochet skull pair! These applique skulls are perfect for all sorts of things. I mean, whatever you have that could use a little skull on it: go ahead!
Simple as they are, these little crochet skull appliques pack in a lot of detail. My favorite part is how the upper jaw with the teeth has been designed. And the eyelashes on the eye sockets for the girl skull are absolutely hilarious! But they do make a cute Halloween couple, there’s no doubt about that!
Depending on the thickness of the yarn you can make these any size you want. If you follow the designer’s suggested yarn size, you’ll end up with finished skulls that have these approximate dimensions: 8,5 x 7cm (3.3 x 2.8 inches).

Skull Earrings Crochet Pattern

These little skull appliques have been designed specifically to make into earrings. Small or big, these earrings are perfect for Halloween, goth fans and other skull enthusiasts! Make them in your favorite color and go out and dazzle!
I love how the design incorporates a small hole for the metal earring to be inserted. It is an elegant solution: this way you don’t need extra rings or other hardware to create the final crochet skull earring. I also like how you can manipulate how mean or friendly the skull looks by slightly altering the shape of the eye sockets. It only needs some very subtle changes to put that frown upside down!
The pattern is written in US crochet terms and features step-by-step photos for extra clarification. It also has diagrams for two different sizes of yarn, creating two different sizes of finished crochet skull earrings, as shown in the photo above!

Mexican Skull Applique Crochet Pattern

These crochet Mexican skull appliques look fierce in any color, even hot pink! I love the shape of the eye socket and the way the jaws and teeth were designed.
You can use these skull appliques to decorate scarfs, bags, hats, Halloween invitations, the possibilities are endless!
The pattern is easy to follow and when crocheted with the indicated yarn the finished size of your crochet skull applique will be approximately 4 x 3.5 inches (10 x 9 cm). So they’re by no means small!

3D Skull Brooch Crochet Pattern

SKULL Crochet pattern, halloween crochet pattern, halloween doll, halloween amigurumi pattern, Amigurumi SKULL, SKULL amigurumi pattern, crochet SKULL doll, SKULL Amigurumi, SKULL toy
This skull crochet pattern is quite unusual: it is a 3d skull brooch! How cool is that? I mean, right now all kinds of pins and buttons are very popular, so why indeed not crochet yourself (or some lucky recipient) a pin or brooch? These crochet skull brooches are the perfect accessory for your Halloween outfit, or for any occassion, really, that you would want to wear it.
I love the expression in this skull’s eyes (or rather: eye sockets) and I love the black base color. This way you can crochet the actual skull in any color (or colorS!) you want, and really personalize your brooch.
Only a little hardware is required to finish of your crochet skull brooch: these pins are widely available in stores or online. Or you could replace the pin with a magnet and make an awesome fridge magnet! Maybe a little fiercesome skull on your fridge will help you to stick to that diet!

Slouchy Skull Beanie Crochet Pattern

This cute slouchy beanie has a slight macabre twist: The back of the crochet hat shows very angry looking skull. What a cool beanie for Halloween. Or, really, whenever you feel to need some “skull protection”. This crochet skull beanie is not for those of us who like to create the cute and fluffy type of crochet. This one is for the hard rock metal bitches who don’t mind to stand out from the crowd!
The pattern is written to produce an adult-sized beanie, but with your own minor adjustments you can make smaller sizes. This does require a bit of crochet experience though. Otherwise, you’re better off by crocheting the skull beanie with thinner yarn and in that way create a smaller hat.

Pirate Skull and Swords Applique Crochet Pattern

Arrrrrr matey! Time for you to walk the plank! This grinning skull clearly belonged to a dangerous pirate! Let’s take a moment and appreciate how cool this crochet pattern really is: from the shape of the jaws and teeth to his delicious cheek bones and, of course, the pirate eye patch and knotted cloth hat! And don’t forget the two crossed sword, both sporting magnificently detailed handles!
Seriously, if you’re looking for the perfect pirate applique crochet pattern (for your kid’s pirate birthday invitations? For a very cool pirate swag bag? For an incredibly awesome baby blanket?), it really doesn’t get any better than this one!

There’s nothing like a little colorful bow to soften up any look. Even if that look is made up out of a grim looking pair of crochet earrings! I really love the sleek lines of this skull applique crochet pattern. And the addition of the bow is really the perfect finishing touch!
You can crochet these skull earrings in any color combination you want, whether in the more “traditional” skull colors of white, ivory or beige or really go full Halloween with orange, black and purple (and green!). Or really any other color you’d prefer.
Again, a little bit of hardware is required. This time you’ll need split rings and some dangle earring bits. Or you can use the crochet skull as an applique, create a garland with them or use them as a fridge magnet!
