Santa is here! This free Santa Claus amigurumi crochet pattern is just so cute! Just look at his little beard and pompom hat! Adorable!
Materials
- Yarn – I used acrylic yarn beige, red, black, red, white and a bit of yellow for the buckle).
- Crochet hook that matches the yarn size – I used hook size 3mm.
- Safety eyes – I used size 8 mm.
- Stuffing.
- Tapestry needle for sewing the parts together.
- Scissors.

Start with beige yarn:
Round 1: 6 sc in magic circle [6]

Decorate your hat with a pompom or jingle bell!
Belt
With black yarn:
Chain 40 stitches.
Row 1: ch 1, turn, 40 sc.
Row 2: ch 1, turn, 40 sc.
Fasten off, leave yarn tail for sewing the belt to the body
Beard
With white yarn:
Chain 31 stitches.
Row 1: turn, 30 sc.
Row 2: chain 1, turn, (5 dc in the second stitch from hook, skip 1 stitch, slip stitch in next stitch, skip 1 stitch) repeat from 5 dc, etc. until the end of the row.
Fasten off, leave yarn tail for sewing the beard to the face.
Finishing Touches
Put all the elements together!
Embroider a nice big belt buckle on the belt.
If you want you can add more features to the face: embroider a mouth, some eyebrows and a nose. And perhaps add some little felt cheeks?
