Crochet the following into the MR: HDC, 2DC, TR, CH2, SLST into 2nd CH from hook, TR back into the MR, 2DC, HDC. FO, leaving a long yarn tail for sewing. Weave in any ends. BAT ASSEMBLY: Stuff the head and body, but not too firmly. This little guy is meant to have a little squish and sag to him. Use the yarn tail from the body to sew the head and body together. I like using mattress stitches for this. Sew the feet on to the body. I attached mine to round 6 of the body, 6 stitches apart. Sew the ears to the head. Sew the wings to the body. SCARF (jade yarn, 3.5mm hook): CH52. HDC in 3rd CH from hook and in each remaining CH to end. FO, weave in any ends.
